About Trinity Bible Church
Who We Are
We are a bible church located just South of Whitehouse. We believe that church should be simple so that Christ's beauty and gospel can be seen clearly. Below, you will find our Statement of Beliefs, we hold to these truths as things that bind us as a community of believers seeking to make Christ known.
Our Beliefs
We believe in the sanctity of human life; God determines the boundaries of life and holds in His hands the
two fragile ends of human experience. He is active in the conception of life and the conclusion of life, in
birth and in death. This truth imparts extraordinary value to every life, independent of gender, race,
socioeconomic position, age, or health status. Those who hold to biblical creation must attach great
worth to human life and will stand in its defense.
All human life, including life developing in the womb, is created by God in His image and is, therefore, to
be nurtured, supported, and protected. From the moment of conception, a child is a human being with all
of the developing characteristics of human life, and this life is dependent on the mother for its continued
development. Therefore, we believe human life must be respected and protected from the moment of
conception. The church calls for persons to practice the ethic of the New Testament as it bears upon
human sexuality and to deal with the issue of abortion by placing it within the larger framework of biblical
principles that provide guidance for moral decision making.
We recognize many have been aYected by the tragedy of abortion. Each local congregation and individual
believer are urged to oYer the message of forgiveness by God for each person who has committed or
been complicit in the sin of abortion. Our local congregations are to be communities of redemption and
hope to all who suYer physical, emotional, and spiritual pain as a result of the willful termination of a
We believe God created mankind in His image: male and female, sexually diYerent but with equal
personal dignity. We believe individuals should aYirm their biological sex and refrain from any attempts to
physically change, alter, or disagree with their biological sex. (Genesis 1:26-28; Romans 1:26-32; 1
Corinthians 6:9-11)

We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—co-eternal in being, co-eternal in nature, co-equal in power and glory, having the same attributes and perfections (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe He infallibly foreknows all that shall come to pass, He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, He hears and answers prayer, and He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (Luke 10:21,22; Matthew 23:9; John 3:16; 6:27; Romans 1:7; 1 Timothy 1:1,2 & 2:5,6; 1 Peter 1:3; Revelation 1:6)
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man (John 1:1–2, 14; Luke 1:35). We believe the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice, and our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead (Romans 3:24; 1 Peter 2:24; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:3–5). We believe the Lord Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry as Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate (Acts 1:9-10; Hebrews 7:25; Hebrews 9:24; Romans 8:34; 1 John 2:1–2). We believe Jesus is coming again to judge the living and the dead (1 Peter 4:5; Romans 14:9; 2 Timothy 4:1).

We believe the Holy Spirit is an eternal Person and fully God who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. He irresistibly calls, regenerates believers in Christ, baptizes them into the church, the body of Christ, indwells them permanently, seals them unto the day of redemption, and bestows spiritual gifts upon each one. (John 3:8; 14:16; 15:26,27; 16:7-15; 1 Corinthians 12:4-13; 13:8; Ephesians 4:30; 5:18).

(John 3:8; 14:16; 15:26,27; 16:7-15; 1 Corinthians 12:4-13; 13:8; Ephesians 4:30; 5:18).
We believe salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on the cross for the forgiveness of the sins of His people. Those who die apart from this gift of grace will experience eternal punishment under God's wrath in a place historically referred to as Hell/Hades/Gehenna (Ephesians 2:8–10; John 1:12; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:18–19; Luke 16:23-25).
We believe all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God’s power and are thus secure in Christ forever (John 6:37–40; 10:27–30; Romans 8:1, 38-39; 1 Corinthians 1:4–8; 1 Peter 1:5). We believe it is the privilege of believers to rejoice in the assurance of their salvation through the testimony of God’s Word, which clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an occasion for the flesh (Romans 13:13-14; Galatians 5:13; Titus 2:11–15).
We believe God is sovereign in the bestowing of spiritual gifts. It is, however, the believer’s responsibility to attempt to develop their given spiritual gift(s). The baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs at conversion and is the placing of the believer into the Body of Christ. We also believe particular spiritual gift(s) are neither essential, nor prove the presence of the Holy Spirit, nor are an indication of deep spiritual experience (1 Corinthians 12:7, 11, 13; Ephesians 4:7–8). We believe God hears and answers prayers of faith, in accordance with His own will, for the sick and afflicted (John 15:7; 1 John 5:14-15). We believe it is the privilege and responsibility of every believer to minister according to the gift(s) and grace of God that is
given to him (Romans 12:1–8; 1 Corinthians 13; 1 Peter 4:10–11).
We believe Jesus commands us to go and share the good news of His love for humanity. Our daily lives are a mission to introduce and reconcile people to God. Everything we are as believers should come from the love of God that transformed our lives. Everything we do as believers should center on the Great Commission fueled by His love in our transformed hearts (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20; John 20:21-22; 2 Corinthians 5:17-18).
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ has committed two ordinances to the local church, baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe Christian baptism is the immersion of the believer in water into the name of the triune God. We believe the Lord’s Supper was instituted by Christ for commemoration of His death. We believe these two ordinances should be observed and administered until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:18–20; Romans 6:3–5; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)
We are committed to the home and family as set forth in Holy Scripture, and it is the primary means for discipleship of children. We believe God has ordained and created marriage to exist between one man and one woman, with absolute marital fidelity. Consequently, we believe individuals should refrain from any sexual conduct or acts outside of this marital relationship.
(Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6; Mark 10:5-9; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Ephesians 5:25-27)
We believe God created mankind in His image: male and female, sexually different but with equal personal dignity. We believe individuals should affirm their biological sex and refrain from any attempts to physically change, alter, or disagree with their biological sex.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Head of and leads the local church through a plurality of elders who have been called, gifted, and appointed by God. By seeking the mind of Christ, depending upon the Holy Spirit, and diligently examining the Word of God, the elders provide spiritual oversight and direction for the church. The qualifications of elders are character based as defined in 1 Timothy and Titus. (1 Timothy 3:1- 13; Titus 1:5-9; Acts 6:1-6)
We believe every human being has direct relations with God and is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith; each church is independent and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority. Therefore, Church and State must be kept separate as having different functions, each fulfilling its duties free from dictation or patronage of the other. (I Timothy 2:5; Romans 14:7–9,12)
